Part 1:

Directions: Complete the assignment below and e-mail me your answer. You may compose your answer directly on an e-mail or on a word processing program and sent it as an e-mail attachment.

1. In your own words, name and describe the three cueing systems. Give an example of reading cues found in each system.

Part II:

Directions: (1) Copy and paste Bob's running record to a word processing file. Read the story, Peach Boy - A Japanese Story. Analyze the errors and complete the running record by typing in M, S, or V , or any appropriate combination of these cues, under the 'Cues Used' column. Feel free to add any comments or justifications to your responses. (2) Complete the 'Summary' and 'Suggested Instructional Strategy' sections at the top of the running record. Comments or justifications are welcome and optional. (3) E-mail me the completed running record.

 

   Tips and Reminders

 

Send all e-mail attachments in rich text format (.rtf).

 

 

 

It might be helpful to print a copy of the running record and mark it as you are looking at the online story. You could then transfer your information to the word processing file and e-mail it.
