Welcome to Running Records: An Observation Tool

Navigation Through The Lesson:

The Welcome Page provides links on the top navigation bar to all the lesson and review pages. The top green bar contains the Lesson Links and the bottom orange bar contains the Review Links.Each page in the lesson and in the review, provides a link back to the Welcome Page. Other links throughout the lesson and review will be proceeded by this magnifying glass symbol, , and will be underlined. Links within the page will open to a new page which means that you can close linked pages out with the 'X' at the right hand top of the page with out loosing your place on the page where you are currently working. You can maneuver through the links in the navigation bar by using the back arrow.

Technical Skills:

  • The technical skills required to complete this lesson are:
  • Sending and receiving e-mail.
  • Coping, pasting, and editing using a word processor program.
  • Transferring files as an e-mail attachment. Note: You will be asked to format files in .rtf. (Rich Text Format). In order to do this, in your word processing program, go to the top bar and find "File". In the drop-down menu, choose "Save as". When the "Save as" box appears find the option, "Save as type". In the drop-down menu, choose (*.rtf).

Get to know your e-mail partner. Send your partner an e-mail that tells how you spend your time.
